  • To secure your session, a 50% deposit of the minimum package fee is required for all bookings. This deposit ensures the reservation of the agreed date and time exclusively for you, preventing any other bookings during that period. Consequently, deposits are non-refundable.
  • While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, I typically schedule sessions no more than 2 months in advance.

  • The initial payment constitutes your deposit, which will be credited towards your selected package.
  • The remaining payment is due on the day of the shoot. You may cover the minimum package fee initially and finalize the remaining balance upon package selection.
  • Delivery of selected and retouched images indicates completion of my services, and all payments should be settled by that time.

  •  In cases where rescheduling is necessary due to inclement weather, illness, or personal/family emergencies, efforts will be made to arrange a new session date promptly. 
  • However, rescheduling is permitted only once. Failure to schedule a new date within 3 months from the original booking will result in forfeiture of the session fee.
  • Should unforeseen circumstances prevent me from fulfilling my obligations on the scheduled session/event day due to illness or personal/family emergencies, a full refund of the session payment will be issued to the client within 5 days of the scheduled event.

  • Clients will receive a digital gallery (Cloud drive link) of edited images within 4 weeks of the session date. 
  • Links will expire automatically after 30 days.

  • You may browse the website without registering, but as a condition to using certain aspects of the website, taking advantage of the website and email communication services, a user of the website must first complete the profile registration page and provide certain personal information ("User Information"). Our information collection and usage policies with respect to such User Information are set forth in the Violet Lin Photography Privacy Policy. You agree not to: (i) share your registration information with any other person; or allow any third party to use your login information. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the accuracy and content of User Information and you agree to keep it up to date. You are solely responsible for activity that occurs on your account and shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You shall promptly notify us of any breach of security by email to  msvioletta9@gmail.com .

Clients must obtain explicit authorization before reproducing these images and must include a printing credit. Furthermore, it is strictly prohibited to modify or crop the images provided by Violet Lin Photography.
  • Unless otherwise specified, ownership and intellectual property rights to all content displayed on our website, including photographs, screen displays, text, graphics, and overall appearance, are owned by Violet Lin Photography ("we" or "us") or our licensors. They are licensed and authorized for use solely for the purposes displayed on this website and may be protected by applicable copyright or other intellectual property laws and treaties, and subject to restrictions on use under such laws or treaties. Unauthorized use of any trademarks, service marks, company names, or logos may constitute infringement of their rights.
  • When you use or download any content on the website, you do not acquire ownership of any such content, code, data, or materials. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, downloading, posting, or republishing of any content on this website (unless strictly for personal, non-public, and non-commercial purposes) constitutes a violation of copyright law.
  • If you purchase any physical photographic works, posters, books, or other products, you only acquire the physical product and are not allowed to make any copies for any purpose. You are granted only the rights to display the products and resell the products, limited to the right of exhibition and resale of the products, without acquiring any intellectual property rights.
  • If you acquire digital photographic works through the purchase of NFTs, you will not acquire any copyright or other intellectual property rights to the digital photographic files associated with the NFTs, and you can only use the NFTs for personal purposes or resell the NFTs according to the terms of the smart contract.

  • IN NO CASE SHALL VIOLET LIN PHOTOGRAPHY, OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, INTERNS, SUPPLIERS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST SAVINGS, LOSS OF DATA, REPLACEMENT COSTS, OR ANY SIMILAR DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF ANY OF THE SERVICE OR ANY PRODUCTS PROCURED USING THE SERVICE, OR FOR ANY OTHER CLAIM RELATED IN ANY WAY TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY PRODUCT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN ANY CONTENT, OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND INCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTENT (OR PRODUCT) POSTED, TRANSMITTED, OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE VIA THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY AND TO THE EXTENT THE FOREGOING LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS PROHIBITED OR FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, VIOLET LIN PHOTOGRAPHY'S SOLE OBLIGATION TO YOU FOR DAMAGES SHALL BE LIMITED TO $100.00. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • YOU AND VIOLET LIN PHOTOGRAPHY AGREE THAT, UNLESS PROHIBITED BY LAW, ANY PROCEEDINGS TO RESOLVE OR LITIGATE ANY DISPUTE ARISING HEREUNDER WILL BE CONDUCTED SOLELY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND THAT YOU WILL NOT SEEK TO HAVE ANY DISPUTE HEARD AS A CLASS ACTION, A REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, A COLLECTIVE ACTION, A PRIVATE ATTORNEY-GENERAL ACTION, OR IN ANY PROCEEDING IN WHICH YOU ACT OR PROPOSE TO ACT IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT, UNLESS PROHIBITED BY LAW, NO PROCEEDING WILL BE JOINED, CONSOLIDATED, OR COMBINED WITH ANOTHER PROCEEDING WITHOUT THE PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF VIOLET LIN PHOTOGRAPHY AND ALL PARTIES TO ANY SUCH PROCEEDING.

  • You will be responsible for providing the dial-up, DSL cable modem, or other form of Internet access and any other hardware and software necessary to access and use the website.
  • If you know of or suspect copyright infringement, please contact us. We reserve the right to remove any Content that allegedly infringes another person’s copyright. We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, users who are repeat infringers of another person’s copyright. Notices regarding any alleged copyright infringement should be directed to us via email at: msvioletta9@gmail.com.
  • If you believe in good faith that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with a written notice containing the following information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address (if any); A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed; A description of where on the Website the material that you claim is infringing may be found, sufficient for us to locate the material (e.g., the URL); A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted work is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; A statement by you UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf; and Your electronic or physical signature. 
  • If any provision of this Terms and Conditions is deemed to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, such provisions shall be deemed separable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other provisions. If deemed feasible for us, such provisions shall be deemed as modified versions as close to the original terms as possible.
  • Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such rights or provisions. Any written waiver of any right shall be deemed a waiver for the future, rather than for past actions.
  • The Terms and Conditions constitutes the entire agreement between you and Violet Lin Photography regarding this website, superseding all prior and contemporaneous oral or written communications, proposals, or agreements between you and us (including, but not limited to, prior versions of this Agreement).
  • The headings in this Agreement are for reference purposes only and do not limit or affect the meaning of the terms.
  • Unless otherwise specified, this Agreement shall not be construed as transferring any rights or obligations to you under this Agreement.
  • The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of P.R. China, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any claims or lawsuits shall be brought in Shanghai, mainland China, and you consent to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction and venue of these courts.

  • When you purchase a photographic print, you are agreeing to the following terms:

  1. When Violet Lin Photography sells a print, reproduction rights and other copyright privileges are not included in the sale. Therefore, the client does not acquire these rights through the transaction.
  2. Responsibility for any damage or loss of the print(s) is transferred to the client upon ownership transfer.
  3. Ownership of the print will only transfer to the client upon full payment of the invoiced price.
  4. For purchases delivered by hand, ownership transfer is confirmed by signing the movement order sheet. For delivered purchases, ownership transfer occurs on the date stated on the delivery slip.
  5. After ownership transfer, the client has 48 hours to report any potential defects in the print. After this period, the print is considered accepted by the client, and Violet Lin Photography will not accept any claims.
  6. Photographic prints are naturally light-sensitive and may undergo changes in appearance due to ordinary use. Violet Lin Photography cannot be held responsible for such changes, including color shifts and fading.
  7. To preserve the print, clients are advised to follow usage guidelines, including avoiding direct light exposure, temperature fluctuations, and improper humidity levels. Framing the print with anti-UV glass is also recommended.

By acknowledging this agreement, you confirm that you have read and understood its terms. You further acknowledge that this agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive understanding between you and us, superseding any prior oral or written agreements or communications regarding its subject matter.
